Safe mode
In safe mode Runesmith loads only the plugins that come with it. Use it when a plugin you installed keeps Runesmith from starting, or makes it crash.
Start in safe mode
- Run Help › Restart in Safe Mode.
- Or start Runesmith with
runesmith --safe-mode.
When Runesmith failed to start twice in a row, or closed unexpectedly within a minute of starting twice in a row, it starts in safe mode by itself and names the plugins that were loading. Stay in safe mode keeps it that way; Start normally restarts with every plugin.
Find the plugin
- Open the plugin manager. A note at the top says Runesmith is in safe mode, and the plugins that are off show it.
- Turn off the plugin Runesmith named, or the one you installed or updated last.
- Click Restart normally.
